Recap October

October has passed so quickly. The students enjoyed learning about Christopher Columbus and his voyage to the new world. Thanks to all the parents for sending delicious food

for luncheon on October 28. Food as well as treats were enjoyed by all the children. They all looked great in their costume & Pjs.

Let’s take a peek at this month:

It is time to welcome November. This month is always a reminder of being thankful for—beginning with our children and parents. We will be exploring and learning about

first thanksgiving, the Pilgrims and native Indians.

Ice Cream Parlor November 6: on this day each class will take a walk to the ice cream parlor in the Sierra Del Ore to have a cool treat. The cost of this trip will be $ 1:50.

Food for Giving Basket November 9—13: Our school will collect non perishable food items to fill our giving basket. The food collected will be sent to a homeless

shelter on November 21. Your contribution in the effort will be greatly appreciated by all.

World Hello Day November 21: We will encourage youngsters to say hello to one another. They will also learn to say hello in a new language like Hola in Spanish, Konichiwa in

Chinese, Namaste in Hindi, Salaam in Urdu & Bonjor in French.

Raymond M Alf Museum November 16: Elementary and Pre School 2 students will be attending this field trip. This museum is located in the city of Claremont. The students will

see a large collection of fossil Mammals from North America. A large Dinosaur egg from China and foot prints of many animals. The cost of the trip will be $ 10. Each student

attending will need to wear school shirt. Details will follow.
